Maica Ontiñano is a Visual Artist and PhD in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
She has 22 years of artistic and research career. She intends to break disciplinary barriers and search for new languages and identities based on art creations site-specific highly involved with nature sustainability.
Her line of research is consolidated from her doctoral thesis, creating a new methodology of analysis specifically for this type of pieces concerning body in action, nature and site-specific conception.
